2 week agoSecurity forces conducted an anti-ISIS raid in Kanaker, S. of Damascus. 3 fighters were arrested after clashes. Truck full of weapons and ammunition was seized, including TNT, IEDs and silencers (suggesting this cell was involved in assassinations)
Field sources told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that two airstrikes targeted the Mansoura and Badia Ratla areas in the countryside of Raqqa Governorate, northeastern Syria.

2 week agoAfter West Homs, #ISIS also claimed responsibility for the assassination of a Doctor, formerly affiliated with the Baath Party, in the city of #Hama. The statement also mentions a (likely) security member who was wounded in a second attack - though this incident is not documented.

3 week agoUS forces have reported conducting a series of airstrikes against ISIS-Somalia hideouts approximately 60 southeast of Bosaso town that Somali Puntland forces are closing in on what could be the last major hideout of ISIS militants in the Baallade Valley. Troops have encircled an area they believe to be the group’s final main stronghold.
